West Sound Breweries Growing Fast!
West Sound Beers @ Total Wine & More
It is indeed amazing to see our local breweries growing, expanding, and making more delicious beer. So much so, they are getting nice placement in stores, buying more equipment, and refining their brewing process to be more efficient.
Does that seem simple? It’s not! Equipment, labor, and facilities cost a lot of money, requiring a lot of cash flow, and always evolving management methods. What we see on the shelf or in a tasting room is a mere glimpse of the tremendous resources used to produce, distribute, and serve more and more beer. Continue reading

Sound Brewery Represents at Gig Harbor Beer Festival: Mark Hood and Zachary Halls
May 14, 2012, Gig Harbor, WA — Sound Brewery Co’s Dubbel Entendre wins “Favorite Brew Award” at the inaugural Gig Harbor Beer Festival on May 12, 2012.
There were a lot of people, a ton of sun, and more than 21 of the finest craft beers in the Northwest, but for the attendees of the first-ever Gig Harbor Beer Festival, one beer stood out above the rest: Dubbel Entendre from Sound… Brewery Co., in Poulsbo, WA.
“The people chose the favorite brew at the festival,” said John Fosberg, event coordinator. “We didn’t want a complicated judging system by only a handful of self-proclaimed beer experts. We wanted the event-goers to simply tell us which brew they liked the best — and they did, by a wide margin. The Dubbel Entendre from Sound kicked butt.”
